Dorothy Louise (Poste) Box

BOX, Dorothy Louise - With family by her side, peacefully on Tuesday July 16th, 2013 in her 84th year. Beloved wife of the late William George Box (2007). Loving mother of Sharon (Dave) Durston of London, Gerald Box (Elyse Martel) of London and Carolyn (Tim) Kaufman of Woodstock. Cherished grandmother of Diane Freiter (Ryan), Melanie Curado (Richard), Corinne and Evelyne Box, Emma and Heather Vondervoort. Great-grandmother of Colby and Connor Freiter, Amelia and Emmit Curado. Dear sister of Ron Poste, Mary Kernohan, Margaret (Ron) Gregor, Larry (Helen) Poste, Florence Ball, David (Ruth) Poste and sister-in-law of Marie Poste, Muriel Poste, Edda Poste , Mary and Gerald Garton, Fran Smith and Jeanette Box. Predeceased by her brothers Jim, Jack, Ken and Bev Poste, and in-laws Betty and Dennis Hemsworth, Willis Ball, Bob Kernohan, Jack Box and Charlie Box and sister-in-law Amy Poste. Also survived by several nieces and nephews and their families. Dorothy was a founding member of St. David's United Church and choir member for over 30 years. Enjoyed camping, fishing, was an avid knitter and especially enjoyed spending time with her family. Many thanks to McGarrell Place in London for making her final years so pleasant. Friends and family will be received at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Thursday, July 18th, 2013, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. The memorial service will be held at St. David's United Church, 190 Springbank Ave, Woodstock, on Friday, July 19th at 2:30pm .
