BOWDEN - At Woodstock General Hospital on Monday April 18, 2005. Dorothy Bowden (nee Mayes) of Balsalm St., Innerkip in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of the late Peter Bowden. Dear sister of Nellie Bowden of Markham, Barbara Chilvers and her husband Alfred of Bowmanville, Walter Mayes and his wife Maria of Eden Mills, Donnie Mayes of Keswick, William Mayes, Jack Mayes and his wife Sheila and George Mayes all of Toronto. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Thomas and Ellen Mayes and eight brothers and sisters. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Avenue, Woodstock (539-0004) on Thursday after 10:00 am where a complete funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday at 11:00 am with Rev.
