Doris Jean (Shervill) Stewart

STEWART - At the Woodstock General Hospital on Wednesday November 5, 2008. Doris J. (nee Shervill) Stewart of Langdon Villa, Woodstock and formerly of Queen St., Woodstock in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of the late John James Stewart (1983). Dear mother of Donna Payne and her late husband Patrick, Robert and his wife Joyce, Randy "Ewie" Stewart (Brenda Gigault), Nancy Calic and her husband Ivan and Grant Stewart all of Woodstock. Loved grandmother of ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Dear sister of Betty Barons of St. Mary's, and dear friend to W. Earl Buchanan of Donegal, Sylvia and Norm McLeod of Ayr and Barry and Margaret Anne Buchanan of Attwood. Predeceased by her brothers Clark, Arnold and William Shervill and by her sisters Ivy Kew, Mary Adlington and Dorothy Taylor. Doris was a volunteer with the Canadian Cancer Society in Woodstock for over 22 years, a member of the Pot Luck Group and dedicated member of the "Tim Horton's Gang". Friends may call at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Friday November 7, 2008 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday at 11:00 am with Rev.
