SPURGEON, D. Jean - Passed away peacefully at the Woodstock Hospital on Wednesday February 8, 2017 in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late James Spurgeon. Loving mother of Richard (Denise Leece) Spurgeon and Karen (William) Andrews. Cherished grandmother of Matthew (Elizabeth Wilson) Andrews, Michael (Rowena) Andrews, and Christopher (Erin) Spurgeon. Great grandmother of Noah and Wyatt. Dear aunt of Peg Spurgeon, Stacey Littlejohn, and Paul Spurgeon and their families. Predeceased by both her parents, Marwel and Violet Dell, and her sister Joan Dell. She will be missed by her brother-in-law Dr. Charles Spurgeon, Karen Spurgeon, and her many other family members. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family at Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004), on Tuesday February 14, 2017 from 1 pm to 2:45 pm with the service being held in the chapel at 3 pm.
