Doris Marguerite (Gregory) Ransome (Elsom)

RANSOME, Doris Marguerite- Passed away peacefully  at Woodstock Hospital on Wednesday June 30th 2021.  Doris M. Ransome (Elsom)( nee Gregory) of Woodstock in her 96th year.  Beloved wife of  the late Frank Elsom (1948) and the late William Ransome (1996).  Loved mother of Sandra (Jake) Bruinewoud, Frank (Linda) Elsom, Bill (Barb) Ransome, Brenda (Late John) Sampson and Jeffrey Ransome.  Cherished grandmother of Andrew (Gloria), Heather (Jason), Sharon, Jesse (Chantelle),  Braden, Matthew and Danielle, and great grandmother of Nate, T.J., Blaine and Arileah.  Dear sister of David (late Cheryl) Gregory.   Predeceased by her infant son Joseph (1967) and grandson Michael (2012).  Friends are invited to meet with the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock on Monday July 5th 2021 from 1 – 2 pm.  A funeral service will follow in the chapel at 2:00 pm.   Due to Covid-19 restrictions, guests must RSVP on the funeral home website.  Interment will be held in the Anglican Cemetery.  If desired, contributions to the W.D.D.S. or charity of choice would be appreciated.  Personal condolences may be sent to www.brockandvisser.com
