ALLAN - Peacefully with her family by her side at the Woodstock General Hospital on Tuesday, May 13, 2008. Doris Ethel Allan (nee Roberts) of Woodstock in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of the late Donald George Allan (1994). Dear mother of Don Allan and his wife Liz of Woodstock, Diane Chesney and her husband Brian of Victoria, B.C., Dave Allan and his wife Char of Woodstock and Donna Livingstone and her husband Tom of Oxford Centre. Loved grandmother of eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Dear mother-in-law of Laurie Allan and her friend Yvon Gigault of Innerkip, sister of Edith Bartram and her husband John of Ingersoll and sister-in-law of Lois Roberts of Iroquois, Ontario. Predeceased by her son Danny (1994), her parents Fred and Ethel (nee Hurse) Roberts, and by her brother Art Roberts. A private time of remembrance will be held by the family at a later date. Cremation has taken place. Interment to follow in the Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery.
