BERTRAND- Peacefully at the Woodstock General Hospital on Thursday, May 26, 2005, Dora Alice Lenore Bertrand ( nee Crawford) of Woodstock in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Wilfred Bertrand (1997). Dear sister-in-law and companion of Mel Bertrand. Dear mother and grandmother of Glen and Elaine Bertrand of Woodstock and their children Marjorie, Dan (Ilene), Susan (predeceased), David (Antoniette), Julie (Chris), Susan, Brenda (Alan), Bob and Jo-Anne Spence of Marten River and their children Bobbie (Denise), Cheri (John), Shawn (Tina)-Enos and Linda Evans of Bruce Mines and Roy and Vaira of St. Mary's and their children Glenn (Lee Anne) and Katrina (John), 24 great grandchildren (and 1 predeceased) and 2 great-great grandchildren. Remembered fondly by sisters-in-law Henrietta Crawford and Margaret Kenny and predeceased by 8 siblings. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, (539-0004) on Monday May 30th from 2-4 and 7-9pm. A funeral service to celebrate Dora's life will be held at The Christ Church, Oxford Centre on Tuesday May 31st at 11:00 am with Rev. Marian J. Haggerty officiating. Interment to follow service in the Oxford Centre Cemetery. Contributions to Christ Church, Oxford Centre, or to the Woodstock General Hospital Building Fund.
