WILKER, Donald David George - After a courageous battle with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis, Don passed away on Tuesday, September 30th, 2014 at Woodstock Hospital at the age of 72. Beloved husband for 50 years of Joyce (McGregor). Loving father of Dave (Barb), Steve (Sue), and Lori (John) Walton. Proud grandfather of Kevin, Michael, and Elizabeth; Emily and Matthew; Jakob and Ben. Son of Ellen and the late Elmer (1980) Wilker. Brother of Walt (Barb), Sharon (Glen) Matheson, and Heather (Rick) Culbert. Brother-in-law of Donna and Ron Rudy. Don will be missed by many nieces and nephews, and friends. He was a lifelong resident of Woodstock and Oxford County. He worked at Timberjack for over 40 years as a machinist. In his retirement he enjoyed fishing, golfing, hunting and spending time with his grandchildren. Don also enjoyed travelling and working in his shop. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Friday October 3rd, 2014 from 2:30-4:30 and 7-9 pm. A memorial service will be held at College Avenue Church 22 Wilson Street, Woodstock, on Saturday October 4th 2014 at 11am. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to the Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation or the College Avenue United Church would be appreciated. Online condolences at www.brockandvisser.com
