Donald Wilfred Vollmershausen

Donald Wilfred Vollmershausen passed away peacefully at Woodstock Hospital on Monday, May 27, 2024 at 87 years of age, after a long life that was well lived as a farmer.

Donald is survived by his wife Donna (nee. Hallock) and sons, Wayne (Deb), Ricky (Cheryl), Terry and daughter Nancy (Mark).  Will fondly be remembered by his five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Survived by brother Doug Vollmershausen (late Connie) Predeceased by his parents Wilford and Stella (nee. Kipp) Vollmershausen, his sisters Audrey Steele (Dave), Marie Bradshaw, Helen Saunders (Bill), brother Murray Vollmershausen (Dorothy)

Donald was born, raised and lived at RR#1, Bright, Ontario for his entire life. He was married for 67 years to the love of his life Donna. He enjoyed dairy farming, hunting, fishing, bowling, and taking his snowmobile out in the winter.

A visitation will be held on Friday May 31, 2024 from 12 noon – 1 pm. Followed by a funeral service at 1 pm all held at Ratho Presbyterian Church, Bright, Ontario. Interment will take place at Ratho Cemetery A Reception will be held after the burial at Forest Estates Park (746112 Township Road 4, Woodstock, On.)
