SCHAEFER, Donald W. - Suddenly at his residence on April 27th, 2012, Donald "Don" Schaefer in his 62nd year. Dear son of Willard and Rose Schaefer. Beloved husband and best friend of Kathy Schaefer (nee Scott). Loving father of Donald Schaefer Jr. and Brett Schaefer. Dear grandfather of Mason, Dylan and Summer Schaefer. Dear brother of Cheryle Szypniewski and Dianne Spencer. Cherished uncle of Lauren, Lindsay and Matthew Spencer; Erin and Jamie Szypniewski and their families. Don was employed with Standard Tube for 40 years, and was an active volunteer with the CAW Hall. He was an outdoor enthusiast who loved hunting and fishing. Family and friends will be received at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Tuesday May 1st, 2012 from 3-5pm and 7-9pm , where the complete funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 1:30pm.
