Donald Arthur Racknor

RACKNOR, Donald Arthur (1923-2010) - Don passed away peacefully, in his 87th year, on Sunday morning at Park Lane Terrace in Paris. He was with his wife of over 60 years Ferne (Willsie), his son Jim (Mary Calder) and daughter Pat (Ken Parker). Don was born in Blenheim, the son of Gordon and Pearl (Sherred). He was predeceased by his parents and brothers Stan, Harve, Douglas and Ralph. He will be lovingly remembered by his grandsons Christopher and Andrew as well as his many dear relatives and good friends. Don wore many hats over his years living in Princeton, Eastwood and Woodstock but first and foremost he will always be remembered as a friend who was always ready to help everyone, no matter how big or how small their challenge. Cremation has taken place and a private time of remembrance will be held at a later date.
