Donald William Palmer

PALMER - Peacefully at his residence, on Monday, May 24, 2010. Donald W. Palmer of Caressant Care Retirement Home in his 86th year. Beloved husband of the late Evelyn Palmer (1977) and the late Trudy Palmer (2003). Dear father of Barb (Rod) Hickson, and Steve (Loreen) Palmer all of Mission British Columbia . Loved grandfather of Stacey, Colin, Amanda, Matthew Cody and Sadie Hickson; Mark Palmer and great grandfather of Ethan and Lincoln. Dear brother of Dorothy Lowe, Russ (Mary) Palmer, and Ray (Diane) Palmer. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents William and Olive Palmer, and brother-in-law Stan Lowe. Don served in WWII with the Royal Canadian Navy. Friends may call at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Friday, May 28, 2010 from 7-9pm, where the service will be held in the chapel Saturday at 1:00pm With Rev.
