Newcombe Donald Peacefully at Victoria Hospital, London on Wednesday October 23, 2013, Donald Max Newcombe of London in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of the late Leona (Bell) Newcombe (2012) and dear father of Laura (late Douglas) Minzen, Dave (Janice) Newcombe, Daniel (Brenda) Newcombe and Susan (Tom) Legree all of London. Dear brother of Hazel (Max) Shamblaw of Kerwood and Ruth (Clifford) Day of Moosenee, Sask. Predeceased by one sister Grace and one brother Jim. Also survived by one brother-in-law Fred Cobb of Powassan and one sister-in-law Edna Newcombe of London. Sadly missed by 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Friends may call at the Harland B. Betzner Funeral Home, 177 Dundas Street Thamesford, on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9pm., where funeral service will be held on Saturday October 26, 2013 at 11am. Interment Zion 7th line Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be given to The Alzheimer Society. Special thanks to the staff of Glendale Crossing and Victoria Hospital for their loving and compassionate care. Following the Interment service at the cemetery, a luncheon will take place at Church of Ascension 2060 Dundas Street East, London.
