SMITH - At the Woodstock General Hospital on Thursday January 10, 2008. Donald Everett Smith of Woodstock in his 94th year. Beloved husband of Phyllis (nee Terryberry) Smith for over 63years. Dear father of Robert Smith and his wife Sharon of Woodstock and Beverley Billingsley and her husband Peter of Belwood. Loved grandfather of Catherine Billingsley (Michael), John Billingsley, Kim Start (Gord), Jennifer Adolph (Jason) and great grandfather of Dana, Samantha, Sydney and Oliver. Also survived by his sister-in-law Ellen Smith of Woodstock and by many nieces. Predeceased by his sister Shirley Bishop and brothers Roy Smith and Winston "Win" Smith. Don served overseas during WWII with the RCAF and RAF. Don along with his brothers and father, started and operated "Smith Furniture" for over 47 years and was a past member of the Woodstock Camera Club. Friends may call at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Saturday January 19, 2008 after 10:00am where the complete memorial service will be held in the chapel on Saturday at 11:00 am. Interment later in the Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery. Cremation has taken place. Contributions to the Woodstock General Hospital Chronic Care Unit or a charity of choice would be appreciated.
