ARMSTRONG, Donald Harry - Passed away on Thursday September 22, 2011 in Woodstock. Donald Harry Armstrong of Woodstock in his 80th year. Beloved husband of T. Mavis (nee Hutchins) for over 58 years. Dear father of Laura Earle (Brad McCulloch) of Woodstock, Christopher Armstrong (Roxanne Borden) of Edmonton and Louise Weiss (Bruce) of New Dundee. Loved grandfather of Jesse Earle, Tyler Weiss, Lexi Weiss and Arthur Armstrong. Loved brother of Bill Armstrong (Margaret) of Verschoyle, Joyce Bailey of Brownsville, brother-in-law of Lloyd Embury of Lakefield and survived by several sisters and brothers-in-law in the Leamington area. Don was a longtime member of St. David's United Church, Woodstock and member of the Old Log Church Cemetery Board. He will be especially missed by his many nieces and nephews, many friends and all that may have found themselves at the other end of one of Don's pranks. Predeceased by his parents; Harry and Violet (nee Oakley) Armstrong, sister Betty Embury and by his brother-in-law David Bailey. The funeral service will be held at St. David's United Church 190 Springbank Ave. N. Woodstock on Tuesday September 27, 2011 at 1:00 pm with Rev Jane Van Patter officiating.
