SNAREY, Donald George – Passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Woodstock Hospital on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at the age of 75. Reunited with his beloved wife of 51 years, Judith (Judie) Eileen Snarey (nee McCutchen), who predeceased him on October 19, 2022. Loved father of Mark Snarey, Kristy O’Neal (Bob Schmidt) and Stephanie Fraraccio (Ben). Cherished grandfather of Marcus and Addison; Emily, Nicole and James; Kaleb, Logan and Rhys. Dear brother of Margaret Schenk (Larry), and brother-in-law of Gary Oxley. He will also be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews, and extended family. Predeceased by his parents, Morris and Cora Snarey (nee Chambers), sister Muriel Oxley and brother Robert Snarey.
Don believed in being kind to all living things and loved to make others smile. For those who wish, please donate to a charity of your choice or perform a random act of kindness in memory of Don.
A celebration of the lives of Don and Judie will be held on Friday, August 11, 2023 between 2-5 pm and 6-8 pm at Waterside Pavilion, Southside Park, Woodstock. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to the Brock and Visser Funeral Home (519)539-0004.
