EDWARDS - At the Woodstock General Hospital on Friday, April 17, 2009. Don A. Edwards of Woodstock and formerly of RR# 1, Beachville in his 81st year. Beloved husband of Reta L. (Nee Moore) Edwards for over 56 years. Dear father of Kathy Horler (Terry Smart) of South Mountain, David and his wife Donna of Girard, Ohio, Bruce of Woodstock and Gary and his wife Dina of Dresden. Loved grandfather of nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Dear brother of Murray Edwards of Blyth and brother-in-law of Bob Moore and his wife Aileen of Oakville. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family members. Predeceased by his sisters Bernice (Jim) McDowell and Florence (George) Powell and sister-in-law Lorraine Edwards. Don had farmed at RR# 1, Beachville with his wife for many years. He was also a longtime member of Knox Presbyterian Church, Woodstock. Friends may call at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Monday, April 20, 2009 from 2:30 - 4:30 and 7-9 pm, where the complete funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday at 1:00 pm with Rev.
