BENNETT, Dick - At his home on Friday August 16, 2013. Dick Manson Bennett of Sweaburg in his 66th year. Beloved husband of Darlene (nee Rowell) Bennett for over 40 years. Dear father of Katie McLeod and her husband Jonathan, Derek Bennett and Emma Bennett all of Woodstock. Loved Papa of Alayna MacDonald, Parker McLeod, Ava McLeod and Mason Campbell. Cherished son of Cornelia "Corrie" Bennett and the late Gerald Bennett. Dear brother of Charlie Bennett (Jocelyn), Paul Bennett (Marjorie), Wilma Bennett and brother-in-law to Richard Rowell (Birthe), Lise Rowell (Wayne), Bill Rowell (Betsy), Mary-Ann Chayka (Terry) and Pamela Rowell (Ted). Dick was an active man. For over 20 years he had enjoyed the many disciplines of Karate of which he earned his Black Belt. Friends will be received at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock 519-539-0004 on Monday August 26, 2013 from 3-5 and 7-9 pm, where the complete memorial service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday at 1:30 pm.
