Denise Alice O'Grady

O'GRADY, Denise Alice (1925-2015) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mom, Denise, on Monday, August 24, 2015, at the age of 90. Denise was the beloved wife of the late Alan O'Grady (2000). She was a truly kind, generous and wonderful soul who cared immensely for everyone around her. She was an incredible mother to her three daughters who will miss her forever. Denise will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humour. She brought much joy and laughter to her colleagues at the Oxford County Separate School Board, where she worked for over 25 years. As one of the first parishioners at St. Rita's Catholic Church, Denise was also a member of the Catholic Women's League for many years. Predeceased by her husband Alan, and her brother Nolan, Denise is survived by her daughters Catherine, Caroline, and Colleen (Aldon), sisters Claire Foster and Catherine Thiffault. Cremation has taken place. Friends are invited to meet with the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Monday September 7th, 2015 from 10-11am, where the memorial service will be held in the chapel at 11am.
