Deborah Ann Porter

Deborah (Debbie) Ann Porter of Woodstock, ON, passed away peacefully February 3, 2025 in her 68th year at Woodingford Lodge Woodstock. 

Debbie was born on March 2, 1957, to Willam and Theresa Brown in Levis, QC. 

Debbie spent her youth traveling with her parents across Canada and abroad who were enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force. Debbie lived in Portage la Prairie, MB, Levis, QC, Greenwood, NS, Winnipeg, MB, and Mugenstrum and Iffenziem Germany. 

Debbie moved to Woodstock in the 1970s where she met Jim Porter and married. Debbie and Jim had three boys. 

Debbie worked for General Motors for 19 years at the National Part Distribution Centre. Debbie retired in 2001 due to her health issues due to Multiple Sclerosis. 

Debbie is survived by her children Bradley (Rachel), Warren, and Brett, her grandchildren Blake and Kendall, her bothers Ron (Susan) Brown and Chris Brown 

Debbie was preceded in death by her parents William and Theresa Brown. 

The family would like to offer their appreciation and gratitude to the staff at Woodingford Lodge Woodstock for the care Debbie received over the past 13 years. 

Cremation has taken place with a private family service to follow at a later date.
