De GRAAF, Debbie T. - On June 1st, 2014 after a courageous two year battle with cancer, the Lord called Debbie Tilda De Graaf in her 51st year, adored daughter, sister, aunt, great aunt and cherished friend to join Him in heaven. Remembered and missed by her mother Corrie De Graaf (nee Huizenga), joining her father in Heaven, the late Wiebe De Graaf. Sadly missed by brother Rene (Liz), sister Tina (Diane) and many loved nieces and nephews. Deb is a longtime dear friend of Janet (Harry) Schut, as well as her pride and joy, furry friend Nevada. Deb spent many of her years working for Shoppers Drug Mart and finished her career employed with the Bright Cheese House (Agropur). Deb was passionate and actively involved within Covenant Christian Reformed Church and involved herself with various church groups, primarily, GEMS in which Deb was a much loved leader. The Lord above has received Deb into his loving embrace. Deb gave joy to many with her selfless acts of kindness, always putting others before herself. She will be missed by many. Friends are invited to join the family for a time of visitation at the Brock & Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004, on Wednesday June 4th, 2014 from 2:30-4:30 pm & 7-9 pm. A memorial service to honour Deb's life will take place at the Covenant Christian Reformed Church, 410 Lansdowne Ave. Woodstock on Thursday June 5th, 2014 at 11am. A private family interment at the Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery. If desired, donations gladly accepted to Woodstock Christian School (John Knox), or the Canadian Cancer Society for Women's Health.
