VAN VALKENBURG, David - At his home on Monday November 9, 2015 in his 81st year. Beloved husband of Susan J. (Nee Knack) Van Valkenburg and the late Mia Van Valkenburg (2004). Dear father to Sharon (Kelly Carter) Van Valkenburg, Deborah Van Valkenburg and Brian (Nancy Pearson) Van Valkenburg. Loved grandfather of Jason (Emily) Harris, Cody Van Valkenburg, Adrian Banks, Andrew Rohrer and great grandfather of two. Dear brother of Dorothy (Alex) McArthur, Mary Slaght, brother-in-law to Liz, Audrey and is survived by his many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Predeceased by several brothers and sisters. Friends are invited to join the family for a time of visitation at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Thursday November 19, 2015 from 6:30 - 8:00pm. The complete memorial service will be held in the chapel on Friday November 20, 2015 at 11:00 am with Rev. Bonnie Pilkey officiating. Cremation has taken place.
