David Turkington

A loyal husband to Marlene (50 years), loving father to Krista, and adored by grandchildren Kat and Mark. David was a man who possessed many skills and applied them to many different careers throughout life: farmer, go cart racer, gas station owner, insurance sales, real estate sales, race horses, and taking his grandchildren out for adventures with Marlene.

David had many passions-reading, trying to beat a Guinness World Record (sadly coming close but not beating the record), car racing, demolition derby driver, organizing euchre parties, swimming, golfing, going to classic car shows and exploring new restaurants in different small towns.

David was active in his church in his prime years and organized and delivered yearly Christmas baskets for the widows and organized yearly golf tournaments. He also was active with Woodstock Little Theatre-behind the scenes and once in a theatre production.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Vu for his exceptional care he has provided to the family for many years (and Karen who has been very kind).

David has left behind many happy memories for his family to cherish. A private service and burial have already been completed. If you wish to donate to a charity in his name please make it to one of your choice.
