David Nelson Schwass

Schwass, David Nelson - Passed away peacefully at the Woodstock Hospital on Saturday, January 18th, 2020 in his 90th year. Beloved husband of Jean (nee Bradnam). Loving father of Julie, Jim and Barb. David was Born September 16th, 1930 in Halifax N.S. He lived in Trenton and Stockdale until moving to Woodstock. Employed at Western Ontario Breeders, Bright Hardware, Beaver Lumber and Home Hardware. He also farmed in the Blandford-Blenheim Township and in his retirement enjoyed collecting milk bottles. David was a devoted member of Old St. Paul’s Church and the Brotherhood of Anglican Churchmen. Friends and relatives are invited to visit with the family on Saturday, January 25th at the Old St. Paul’s Anglican Church from 10:00 - 11:00. The memorial service will begin at 11:00 in the church with Rev. Rob Luxton Officiating. A reception will follow in the church hall. If desired, memorial contributions to Old St. Paul’s Church Restoration Fund and Diocese of Huron Brotherhood of Anglican Churchmen would be appreciated and may be arranged through the Brock and Visser Funeral Home (519-539-0004).
