McBurney - At the Woodstock General Hospital on Friday August 1, 2003. David R. McBurney of Parkinson Rd. Woodstock in his 73rd year. Special friend of Mary Johnston. Dear brother of Kenneth McBurney and his wife Mary of Parkhill, Betty McCann and her husband John of London and Eileen Rachar of London. Also survived by Jane and step-children Tom and Michelle and their children Tony and Trevor, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Beatrice Douglas and Harry McBurney, brothers Robert and John, sister Diane and brother in law Ross Rachar. Friends may call at the R. D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Avenue Woodstock (539-0004) on Monday 2:30 - 4:30 & 7 - 9 pm where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday at 1:30 pm with Pastor Ken Charlton officiating. Interment in Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery. Contributions to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #55 Woodstock (Track Club) would be appreciated. A Legion service under the auspices of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #55 Woodstock will be held Monday at 6:30 pm in the funeral home.
