RONEY, Daryl Louise (Nee Lind)-
There will be a Celebration of Life for Dar, Mom, Ma, Mrs. Roney, McRae on Friday, November 9. Dar passed peacefully into her Heavenly Home on Oct. 30, at LHSC. She was predeceased by her parents Jim and Ruth Lind, and her special son Jimmy (1981). She is survived by her husband and best friend of 56 years, John, and her Sister Bev DeHaan (Dave). Dar was the forbearer in raising 3 truly awesome kids: Colleen Walters (Brent), Sharon Ireland (Tim), and John Roney (Kate), and she loved and nurtured 6 super Grandkids: Alysha and Aaron Walters, Serena and Ty Ireland, and Justin and Josh Roney. After teaching a few years, Dar committed her life to fulfilling her dream of raising her family and actively managing the farm and horses. Dar made friends wherever she went - school, church, community, horse shows, and Willow Lakes FL. She will be sadly missed by everyone who knew her. A time of visitation will be held at Knollwood Baptist Church, 800 Cheapside St., London, on Nov. 8, from 6-9 PM., and on Nov. 9 from 4-5 PM prior to the Celebration at 5:00 PM. Refreshments will be available afterwards. Donations in Dar's memory can be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation.
