Daisy Louise (Taplay) Masson

MASSON, Daisy Louise (nee Taplay) - Peacefully went to be with the Lord and join her beloved husband Johnnie (1993) at Woodstock General Hospital on Friday December 26, 2008. Mother of five daughters - Elaine (Bob) Pommer of Nottawa, Linda (Bill) Battram of St. Catharines, Melody Kerr of St. Catharines, Gayle (Paul) Steele of Woodstock and Shari Alexander of Texas. She is survived by her brother John (Betty) Taplay. Predeceased by her 10 siblings. Missed by her 15 grandchildren and her 8 great grandchildren. She will also be missed by her extended family and many friends. Daisy was a faithful giver to missions and devoted to her Saviour. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service to celebrate Daisy's life will be held in the chapel at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at 1:30 pm. Interment later in the Baptist Cemetery. The family wishes to sincerely thank Dr. Thompkins and the nurses and support staff on 2nd floor east at the Woodstock General Hospital for Daisy's excellent care and support during her hospitalization.
