Conrad Arthur Tierney

TIERNEY- At the Woodstock General Hospital on Friday, July 7, 2006, Conrad Arthur Tierney of Sovereign Rd., Woodstock in his 85th year. Beloved husband of the late Lilian Tierney (nee Campbell) (1996). Dear father of Conrad Tierney and his wife Donna of London and Jeff Tierney and his wife Nancy of Woodstock.. Loved grandfather of Matthew, Lauren, Lindsey and Geoffrey. Conrad is survived by his sisters Christina Arrowsmith, Doreen Ainsworth and Lilian Cross all of England and by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers John, William and Lawrence. Conrad served in the Battalion of Liverpool in the Kings Regiment, was awarded the Burma Star during WWII in Burma and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch # 55, Woodstock. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave. Woodstock, (519-539-0004) on Monday July 10, 2006 from 2:30- 4:30 and 7-9 pm where the funeral service will be held at Old St. Paul's Anglican Church (723 Dundas St.) on Tuesday at 1:30 pm with Rev. Bruce Genge officiating. Interment in the Anglican Cemetery. Contributions to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
