Colin Macphee

July 14, 1922 — November 11, 2005

MACPHEE-Peacefully at Woodstock General Hospital on Friday November 11, 2005, Colin MacPhee of Woodstock, in his 84th year. Colin was born in Blackburn, Lancashire England and died the youngest son of Dr. Burgess and Marion MacPhee. Loved husband of Fay MacPhee (Matthews), and father of Fraser (Darcy) MacPhee of Utah and Pam (Jim) Myers of Woodstock. Also survived by his three grandchildren Ms. Codi and Ms. Nikki MacPhee and Nathan Myers and by his niece Angela Adams and nephews David Holden, Duncan and Rev. Canon Roger MacPhee. Predeceased by two brothers and one sister. Colin served with the Merchant Marines during WW2. He was one of the original members of the Woodstock Choralaires and was the past president of the Wisemans Club. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., (539-0004) Monday after 10:00 am where the Memorial Service will be held in the chapel Monday at 11:00 am with The Venerable James Dugan officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations may be made to Jesse's Journey, P.O. Box 5099, London, ON, N64 4M8.
