With great sadness our family is saying goodbye to our dear brother and favourite uncle, Colin L. MacLeod. Born on September 13, 1960, Colin passed away suddenly after a brief illness, at his farm near Embro, Ontario. He was the cherished son of the late John and Lois (McCorquodale) MacLeod.
He is survived by his siblings, Ken (Joan) MacLeod, Lois Ann (Kim) Barnes, Bruce (Mindy) MacLeod, Robert (Rejeanne) MacLeod and Mary (Kirk) Lindsay. He was a beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews, as well as great-nieces and great-nephews, who will miss him dearly.
Colin had recently retired as a dairy farmer. He was an incredible photographer and had a remarkable talent for capturing the beauty of nature, animals, especially birds, butterflies, and flowers in his photographs. His collection of close-up images displayed his keen eye for detail and his deep appreciation for the natural world. He always had his camera at every family gathering and captured many happy memories.
In the face of life's challenges, Colin remained a steadfast source of support and encouragement for his loved ones. Colin's passing leaves a void in the hearts of many, but his memory will live on in the countless lives he touched.
