Clifford Solly

SOLLY, Clifford - Passed away suddenly at Caressant Care Retirement Home on Saturday, August 10, 2013. Clifford Solly was in his 68th year. Beloved husband of late Catherine "Kate" (nee Wing) Solly (2012). Dear father of John Abraham (Alison), Brian Abraham (Diane), and late Ken (2013) Abraham (Margaret). Cherished grandfather of Amanda, Jack, Robert, Audrey, Meredith, Charlotte, Scott, Sean, and Dana. Also survived by his sister Margaret (Jim) Splawski and by his brother-in-law Norman (Anne) Wing, their son David (Shawna). He will be missed by his furry friend Lucy. Clifford was predeceased by his parents Fred and Connie Solly (2009) and by his parents-in-law Jack and Grace (nee Schlicter) Wing. Cliff was a past member of the Kiwanis Club, London and was very involved in Scouts Canada. A memorial service to honour Cliff's life will be held at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Saturday September 21, 2013 at 2:00 pm. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service. Cremation has taken place. If desired, contributions to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
