BRUCE, Clifford Glen - Passed away at People Care Nursing Home, Tavistock on Monday August 29, 2016 in his 91st year. Cliff is survived by his wife Fannie Frances (nee Scott) Bruce whom he married on October 24, 1946. He was the youngest son of the late Albert and Lillie (nee Pallister) Bruce and was the last remaining member of his family. He will be remembered by his sisters-in-law Pat (Don) Leach, Marion Matthews, by his brother-in-law Jack Scott and is survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sister Elsie (Louis) Lemp, brothers Jim (Gertie) Bruce, Howard (Edith) Bruce. Cliff and Fannie farmed on the 13th line of East Zorra- Tavistock Township until October, 2002 when they moved to Highway 59, just north of Woodstock. Cliff loved the auction sales and travelling near and far, bringing home treasures, trinkets and collectibles for Fannie to paint. Their little acreage was known as "Windmill Hill" where they hosted hundreds of visitors over the years. Friends are invited to join the family at Christ Church Huntingford on Saturday September 3, 2016 from 10 - 11 am, where the funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am with Rev. Ted Winter officiating. Interment to follow in the Christ Church Huntingford Anglican Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions to the Christ Church Huntingford Memorial Fund would be appreciated.
