Clifford Emmanuel "Pete" Bennett

BENNETT, Clifford "Pete" - Passed away peacefully, in his sleep at Caressant Care, Woodstock on Saturday, September 27th, 2014 in his 91st year. He was the beloved husband of the late Agnes (Seli) Bennett (2009). Loving father to Lynda and Rick Hansford of Crampton, Brenda and the late Donald Ventnor of Tillsonburg, Cindy and the late Gordon Sutherland of Putnam and Bradley "Benny" and Marg of Thamesford. Cherished grandfather of eight grandchildren and their spouses and eleven great grandchildren. Dear brother to Mabel Templeman, Iona Walker, Glen Bennett, Raymond Bennett, Dolly Somers and Carman Bennett. Predeceased by his brother Roy. Friends are invited to join the family for a time of visitation on Monday, September 29, 2014 from 7-9pm at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 177 Dundas St., Thamesford, 519-285-2427 where a private funeral service will be held on Tuesday with Rev. David Snihur officiating. Interment in the Wingham Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the ALS Society or the Alzheimer Society and may be arranged through the funeral home.
