ROWELL - At her residence on Wednesday June 15, 2005. Clara G. Rowell (nee Trenaman) of Woodingford Lodge and formerly of Admiral St., Woodstock in her 97th year. Beloved wife of the late Francis E. Rowell (1967). Dear mother of John Rowell and his wife Dawn of Woodstock. Loved grandmother of Dawn Bathie and her husband Jim of Winnipeg, Heather Minielly and her husband Paul of Sydney , B.C., Andrew Rowell and his wife Sharon, Mary Catherine Rowell (Shaun) and Christine Rowell (Eric) all of Woodstock. Dear great-grandmother of ten. Predeceased by her brother John Trenaman and by her parents George and Mildred Trenaman of Embro. Clara had been a long time member of Dundas St. United Church, a member of I.O.D.E. - Admiral Vansittart Chapter and Woodstock General Hospital - Ladies Auxiliary. She and her late husband, operated the F.E. Rowell Funeral Home for many years. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 539-0004 on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday June 17, 2005 at 11:00 am with Rev. Austin Snyder officiating. Interment in the North Embro Cemetery. Contributions to the Red Cross Commuity Health Services or Dundas St. United Church would be appreciated.
