HAMILTON - At her residence on Thursday March 17, 2005. Clara M. Hamilton (nee Effingham) of Woodingford Lodge and formerly of Altadore Cres., Woodstock, three days short of her 102nd birthday. Beloved wife of the late Arthur "Art" F. Hamilton (1987). Dear mother of Bill Hamilton and his wife Marg of Woodstock and Mary Hyslop and her husband Gerry of Bowmanville. Loved grandmother of Alison, Matthew, Sarah, Christine (Roger), Julie (Paul) and Sandra and great grandmother of Riley. Dear sister-in-law of Suzanne Effingham of Kitchener and special aunt of Eleanor Noble of Elmira. Predeceased by her sister Willa and by her brother Harold. Clara was the last surviving member of her own family. Clara was very involved in past years with the family business of "A.F. Hamilton Ltd." , was a longtime member of the New St. Paul's Anglican Church A.C.W. and was a past participant of the "We Sew Club". Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 539-0004, Friday 2:30-4:30 and 7-9pm, where the complete funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday March 19, 2005 at 4:00pm with The Venerable James Dugan officiating.
