Claire Leroy Foster

FOSTER, Claire Leroy - Born May 24, 1926, Died Feb. 7, 2015 at Sakura House, Woodstock. Survived by his wife; Shirley Jean (nee Romp) Foster for over 65 years. Dear father of Tom Foster and his wife Marlyn of Markdale, Dick Foster and his wife Ruth of Port Stanley and Jim Foster and his wife Rosemary of Woodstock. Claire loved his eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren and considered each of them a blessing. Predeceased by his parents Pearl and Clarence Foster and by his brother Harley. His main passions in life were golf, fishing and his piano. Not necessarily in that order. You will be missed "Fos". Friends will be received at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Monday February 16, 2015 from 12:30-1:30pm, where the memorial service will be held in the chapel at 1:30pm with the Rev.
