FRASER, Christena "Chris" - Passed away peacefully at her residence on Wednesday December 2, 2015. Christena "Chris" (nee MacKenzie) of Caressant Care, Woodstock and formerly of Canterbury St. and Edward St., Woodstock in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late W. Bruce Fraser (2003). Dear mother of Mildred Langille and her husband Phil, Laurie Fraser and his wife Diane and Cheryl Shulman and her husband Mark. Loved grandmother of Kristin (Matt Small), Trevor, Adam (Melissa), Blaine, Lesa (John) and great grandmother of Brandon, Christopher, Haylee, Jessica, Erica, Mya, Kara and Ella. Dear sister-in-law to Shirley MacKenzie and Betty Howlett. Predeceased by her brothers William, Campbell and Ken and by her sister Reta. She was the last surviving member of her own family. Chris was a long time member of Knox Presbyterian Church, Ladies Aid and Campbell Auxiliary at Knox Presbyterian Church. Friends are invited to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Sunday December 6, 2015 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm, where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday at 2:00 pm with Rev. Mark McLennan officiating. Interment in the Presbyterian Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions to the Alzheimer Society Oxford County or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
