Chris Grant

GRANT, Christopher John - A sweet and gentle man is now at rest. On Wednesday, March 5, 2008, at Alexandra Hospital in Ingersoll, in his usual quiet manner, Chris died peacefully, at the age of 48. He is survived by his loving daughter, Lauren - the light of his life - and his wife, Sue Grant (nee Myers). Dear son of Jennifer Grant and John Grant, and dear brother of Katy (Bob) Manuel, Karl (Tracey) Grant, Martin (Brandy) Grant, Nicki (Ed) Treszl, Michaela Chalk, and their families. Chris was like a son to Carol and David Myers, and a dear brother-in-law to Duane and Beth Myers and family. Chris was employed for many years at Infatool in Ingersoll, where he was fondly known as "Whitey". Chris will, no doubt, be missed by his fellow residents, and the caring staff, at Oxford Regional Nursing Home in Ingersoll. Friends will be received at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, (519-539-0004), on Monday, March 10, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm where the memorial service will be held on Tuesday at 1:30 pm.
