Charles H. (Chuck) Wraight

WRAIGHT - At the Woodstock General Hospital on Friday July 15, 2005. Charles "Chuck" H. Wraight of Anderson St., Woodstock in his 85th year. Beloved husband of M. Patricia "Pat" Wraight (nee Stevenson) for over 57 years. Dear father of William "Bill" and his wife Kathy of Cambridge and Robert "Bob" and his wife Janet of Kitchener. Loved grandfather of Christopher and Matthew both of Woodstock. Dear brother of Eva Williams of Paris. Predeceased by his brother Emerson and by his sister Helen. Chuck was a veteran of WW II serving with the R.C.A.F. for over five years. He volunteered at Woodingford Lodge, a member of the South Gate Seniors Centre, was active in sports all of his life playing baseball and refereeing hockey and was an avid golfer and curler. Chuck delivered with Silverwood Dairy for over 25 years after which he was employed with the City of Woodstock for twelve years before retiring. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 539-0004 on Tuesday July 19, 2005 after 9:30 am where the complete funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 am with Rev. Kirby Constable officiating. A private interment will take place in the Hillview Cemetery.
