Pearson Cecil Wilfred Peacefully at Woodingford Lodge Woodstock, with his family at his side on Saturday November 12, 2011. Cecil Wilfred Pearson, formerly of Kintore, in his 88th year. Beloved husband of the late Reta (Bull) (1988) and dear father of Murray (Beth) of St. Marys, Penny Pearson-Wade of Woodstock, Jane (Lidio) Raffin and Ruth (Bill) Piovesan, both of Beachville and Leah Pearson of Ottawa. Dear Grandfather of Kristi and Mark (Alexia), Theresa (Conor), Michael Edwin and Jaclyn (Iain), Chris and Lindsay, and Matthew and Sarah (Matt). Also survived by sisters-in-law Lorene Pearson and Mary Hurst, and a special friend Louise Wilson. Predeceased by a brother Lloyd and a sister Marjorie Reynolds. Cecil lived a full and interesting life. In 1944-45 he trained for 7 months as a tank driver in the 3rd Armoured Corps, Camp Borden. For 25 years, he and Reta operated the family Dairy Farm at Kintore. He then became qualified to become a Teacher of Industrial Arts in Oxford County Schools. Friends may call at the Harland B. Betzner Funeral Home 177 Dundas Street on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9PM where a Celebration of Cecil's Life will be held on Wednesday November 16, 2011 at 11 AM. Reverend Douglas PecK officiating.
