SMITH, Catherine F. - Peacefully at Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance, on Thursday April 19th , 2012. Catherine Fletcher Smith of Woodstock in her 101st year. Beloved wife of the late Peter Smith (2003). Much loved mother of Mary Merrick and her husband Hollis, and the late Jean Mahon and her husband John. Dear grandmother of Elizabeth (Shannon) Rhynold, Catherine (Christopher) Lowe, and special great grandmother of David Campbell Rhynold. Catherine was an avid golfer, curler, and in her spare time enjoyed volunteering with the Canadian Cancer Society, Woodstock General Hospital and was also a member of the Daughter of the British Empire. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service to celebrate Catherine's life will be held at the Brock & Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock 519-539-0004, on Friday May 4th, 2012 at 1:30 pm.
