Catherine (Hutsal) Kowalski

KOWALSKI- Catherine- Is now resting in the arms of Jesus, her Lord and Saviour. Catherine Kowalski (nee Hutsal) formerly of Manitoba, Newfoundland and Nova Scotia passed away at Woodingford Lodge, Woodstock on November 15th 2012, in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late Victor Kowalski (1976). Loved mother of Joseph (June) Kowalski of Cape Breton, Lorraine (Harold) Collins and Rosaline (Stephen) Freeman all of Woodstock. Cherished grandmother of many grandchildren, great grandchildren and her extended family. Dear sister of Margaret Bomak and Peter (Lena) Hutsal. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her son Leo Kowalski, grandson Leonard O'Toole (1986), great grandson Nathaniel Claxton (2007), her siblings Mary, John, Annie; and step-daughters Josephine, Victoria and Helen. Catherine was a longtime member of the KW Church of Christ. Friends may call at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Sunday November 18th 2012 from 2-4 pm where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday November 19th 2012 at 11:00 am.
