Carolyn Frances (Rine) Wylie

WYLIE- Carolyn F. (nee Rine) of Woodstock, Ontario lost a valiant and all too brief a battle with leukemia at London Health Sciences Centre on Tuesday March 20, 2007 in her 66th year. Much loved wife of John and dearest mom to Sandra Johnson, Chris Johnson and wife Donna, Sue McCarthy and husband Doug Sureus, and Kim Fisher and husband Moe. Esteemed step mom of Krista Wylie and husband Emree Siaroff and Jay Wylie. Loved grandma to Bryan, Jenny, Amanda, Jesse, Dylan, Ryan, Maddie and Bennett. Dearest sister and "Grand Poobah" of Verna Roberts and husband Russ, Elizabeth Eves and husband Gary, Joanne Miller and husband Ron, Ken Rine and wife Trish, Patti Ellerton and husband Rick, Barb Holbrook and husband Steve and step sister Emily Geroux and husband Marty. Carolyn had an exemplary career with the Bank of Montreal and worked in many locations throughout Ontario. She was an outstanding leader with a strong work ethic and a wonderful sense of humour. Upon retirement, her greatest joys was the time at the cottage in Port Burwell - a congregating spot for many family members. Indeed, the focal point of her life was family and her wit, generosity, smile and positive outlook will be sorely missed by everyone. A special thanks to all the staff in the AML section on the 7th Floor of LHSC. You brought compassion and professionalism to our struggle over the past 27 days. Friends may call at the R.D.
