Carol Norma (Beacon) Mcarthur

It is with great sadness that the family of Carol Norma McArthur (nee Beacon) announce her passing peacefully at VON Sakura House in Woodstock, ON. Predeceased by her father Clifford Beacon and Daisy Beacon (nee Leeman) of Collingwood, ON

Carol is survived by her daughters Cheryl, Sharon (Darren) and Lori. Amazing Nana to Randy (Erin). Honorary Nana to Ashley (Adam). Missed dearly by nephew Wayne (Shawna) and niece Kim (Ian) and great nephew Jacob. Predeceased by former husband John McArthur who remained a big part of her life.

Her sister Betty Beacon, her brother Robert Beacon and predeceased brother Al Beacon held a very special place in Carol’s heart. Survived by her sisters Mary, Merle and Daisylee (Mario). Predeceased by her brothers and sister, Darryl (Nancy), Don, Helen (Mike) and Paul. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews and friends.

Carol’s love for animals gave her much joy in life. Furever loved by her fur-grand babies Lexi, Laci, Big Fat Molly the Cat, Kitty, Joey and Mr Blue.

A special thanks to her friend Walter for always being there for her.

Carol worked tirelessly her entire life. She loved unconditionally. But her true passion was being a mom and nana. Carol was a very strong woman and was ill for many years. Her inner strength and passion for life gave her many additional years. There is a sense of relief for her family that she doesn’t have to feel pain anymore. She was a protector to those she loved and always put everyone before her.

Her family would like to thank Valentine, Sandeep, Bandana and Jessica at Caressant Care Retirement Home Woodstock, ON for the wonderful care and support they provided.  We would also like to thank Dr Sondhi, the nurses and staff at Sakura House for their kind and compassionate care during this difficult time. Our family will be forever grateful.

Respecting Carol’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral. Brock and Visser Funeral Home have been entrusted with her arrangements. (845 Devonshire Avenue, Woodstock 519-539-0004)
