Carol Florence Hutchison

Carol Florence Hutchison passed away peacefully on August 3, 2024, at the age of 83. Born on July 13, 1941 in Trenton, Ontario.

Carol's journey began as the cherished daughter of the late Robert and Clara Vieau. Her early years were shared with her siblings, the late Beverley (late Joe) Truin and Sharon (late Bob) Ethier. Carol's life was further enriched by her marriage to her beloved husband, Douglas, who predeceased her in 2016. Together, they built a life filled with love and laughter, a legacy carried on by their children, Shelley (Steven) Holloway and Doug and Marg Hutchison.

The joy of Carol's life was her family, including her adored grandchildren, Beth and Adam (Blair). Carol was a sister-in-law to Joan (late Reg) Mitts and Gloria (Tom) Goodwin, as well as the late John (Linda) Hutchison. Her nieces and nephews will fondly remember her for her loving nature and the kindness she extended to each of them.

After marrying, Carol dedicated herself to raising her family in Port Hope, where she created a home filled with warmth and hospitality. Later, she and Doug enjoyed their retirement years first in Belleville and then in Woodstock. Carol's love for her family was paralleled only by her passion for the Toronto Blue Jays. She was an avid fan, and her enthusiasm for the game was infectious.

Cremation has taken place. Carol's life will be celebrated in a private ceremony, as per her wishes. Her family takes comfort in knowing that she is now reunited with her beloved Doug and that her love will continue to be felt in the stories shared and the memories cherished. Rest in peace, dear Carol, until we meet again.
