Carol Ann (Newstead) Clarke

Carol Clarke, a loving, kind, and funny woman, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2023, at the Alexandra Hospital at the age of 76.

Carol was predeceased by her beloved husband, John Clarke, and her son, Roy Clarke. She is survived by her children, Karen McKimm (Mike), Bob Clarke (Helen), and daughter-in-law Robin; her grandchildren, Abby, Devan, Morgan, Elizabeth, Sarah, and Dawn; her brothers, Roy Newstead (Lynn) and Bill Newstead (Linda); and numerous nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.

Carol spent her last years living with her daughter Karen and her family, where she enjoyed every moment and continued to be the life of the party. Her laughter and positive outlook on life were infectious, and she never failed to bring a smile to the faces of those around her.

Carol's passing leaves a void in the lives of her family and friends, but her spirit will live on in the memories and stories shared by those who knew and loved her. Her laughter, kindness, and love will be remembered and cherished by all who were fortunate enough to have known her.

As we say goodbye to Carol Clarke, we celebrate her life and the love she shared with all of us. She will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. Rest in peace, dear Carol, knowing that you have left an indelible mark on the lives of those who loved you. Celebration of Life will be held for both Carol and John at Gunners club on Henry Street in Brantford on June 11th, 2023, from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm.
