Passed away peacefully on June 19, 2023, at Woodingford Lodge. Born in Pesche, Italy on December 27, 1929. Beloved husband of the late Filomena (2017). Loving father of Sabatino (Teresa), Rosina (Philip) Mantenuto, Laura (Cosimo) Figliomeni. Dear grandfather of Giovanni Carmelo (Nina), Loredana (Mike), Nicolino Carmelo (Joanne), Patricia, Francesco (Evie). Great Grandfather of Marco, Giuliana, Christina, Mila, lIiya, Elisabeth, Luka, Mateo and Ema. Predeceased by his siblings Marietta (Raffaele), Giovanni (Angelina), Filomena (Domenico), Cosimo (Giuseppina) and Rosina (Americo). Also survived by several nieces and nephews. A special thank you to the Langdon Villa and Woodingford Lodge for the special care of Carmelo during his time spent there. If you so desire, donations to Woodingford Lodge would be appreciated. Visitation will take place on Tuesday June 27, 2023, from 5-8 pm at Brock and Visser Funeral Home (845 Devonshire Ave. 519-539-0004). A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday June 28, 2023, at 11 am at Holy Trinity Catholic Parish (1420 Devonshire Ave.) Cremation to Follow.
