Caridad Turcato Aragon, loving wife, adopted mother, sister and friend passed away on Monday, October 21, 2024 at Woodingford Lodge at the age of 89.
Caridad is reunited with her beloved husband, Domingo, who predeceased her in June 2023. She is fondly remembered by her adopted family, Aldrin and Yolina Belonio and their children Aldrin Jr., Andrew and Arjun, and by many cherished friends.
Born in Pampanga, Philippines, Caridad was one of 9 children born to her late parents, Amado and Angela Panglinan. Her family included brothers Ernesto, Reinfredo, Leonardo, Cirilo and Joseph and sisters Elise Nicholas, Norma Panglinan and Gloria Nepomuceno. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Caridad and Domingo shared a wonderful life together – they travelled the world, taking pictures of their many destinations. They loved to host parties - Caridad could be counted on to sing Karaoke, and she loved to dance. She was an avid gardener, cultivating vegetables that Domingo would cook for delicious meals. She was a wonderful person and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know her.
Friends and relatives are invited to join the family for visitation on Monday, October 28 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday morning, October 29th, at 11am at Holy Trinity Parish, 1420 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock. A reception will follow in the parish fellowship hall, followed by committal at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
