Candace Louise Cowan

Candace Cowan, a kind and loving soul, passed away peacefully on April 7, 2023 in Woodstock, Ontario. Born in Tillsonburg, Ontario, Candace brought warmth and joy to all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Candace was the beloved partner of Mike Braun, with whom she shared many cherished memories. Candace was a devoted mother to Ashly Cowan (Dave Purves) and Will Wade (Jenn), who were her pride and joy.

As a grandmother, Candace showered her grandchildren, Sophie, Tristen, Quinn, and Tony, with love and affection and she will be deeply missed by each of them.

Candace was the cherished daughter of Mary Cowan and the late Donald Cowan, Candace was also a dear sister to Nancy McKnight (George), Kim Watling, Tracy VanVliet (Rob), and Donna Cowan (Ian Dorriss).
In addition to her immediate family, Candace was a dear sister-in-law to Ken Braun (Jacquie) and Marty Braun (April).

She was predeceased by her father, Donald Cowan, and her beloved granddaughter, Zoey Cowan and brother-in-law Brad Watling. Her absence will be felt deeply by her extended family, who will continue to honor her memory by living out her values of kindness and love.

Memorial Visitation will take place on Friday April 14, 2023 from 10am- 11am, followed by a Memorial Service at 11 am held at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home (845 Devonshire Ave, 519-539-0004)
