TERPSTRA, Calix Sr.- It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Calix Reinier Terpstra Sr., after a long courageous battle with cancer. In his 86th year at the V.O.N. Sakura House on Friday, June 15th, 2018, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Carolyn (nee Pozzobon) Terpstra. Loving father of Calix (Suzi) Terpstra Jr. and Rena (Scott) Kubota. Proud grandfather of Paige (Peter) McMahon and Connor McMahon. Dear brother to John, Rene (Darlene), Julia (David) Atchison, Herman (Sandra), Peter, Theresa, and Ted. Predeceased by both his parents Tjipke and Marie Terpstra, and his sister Emma Neumann. Survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family at Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Monday, June 18th, 2018 from 6 to 8 pm with the funeral service on Tuesday in the chapel at 11:00 am.
